A voucher should make a customer feel welcome. It should not leave a cashier searching for an expiry date while the queue grows. For Singapore shops, cafés and service businesses, the useful starting point is a simple promise: explain the benefit, show when and where it works, and make the remaining amount easy to understand.
A digital voucher connects three everyday jobs. LoyaltyOS manages the customer benefit and its conditions. CommerceOS brings that benefit into an eligible purchase. PaymentOS helps the team understand discounts and payments afterward. Plan those jobs together before promoting a campaign, especially when customers can buy through more than one channel.
Separate the campaign deadline from the voucher’s expiry
Chope’s official Chope-Dollars information, checked on 16 October 2026, says earning stopped for bookings attended from 15 October. Existing balances can be used or converted until 23:59 Singapore time on 30 November 2026; vouchers already redeemed retain their own validity and terms. The page’s publication date was not established. These are Chope’s programme rules, not a Rewardly integration.
The merchant lesson is practical: a programme deadline and an issued voucher’s expiry can be different. Tell customers which date applies to them. If an offer is ending, update the campaign message, customer terms and staff briefing together. Avoid a broad “rewards end today” message when customers still hold usable benefits.
Define one benefit that staff can explain
Start with a common customer need, such as a reason to return after a first purchase or a useful birthday treat. Rewardly’s digital vouchers support benefits including money off, percentage discounts and gifts, with configured conditions. Choose a benefit that fits your margin and service capacity. A generous-looking offer that staff cannot honour consistently creates unnecessary disappointment.
Write down eligible products, any minimum spend, participating outlets, permitted channels and the validity period. Rewardly documentation describes these controls, including membership restrictions and customer-visible terms. Each issued voucher copy has its own start and expiry dates. Review the actual customer voucher, rather than assuming the campaign’s headline date tells the whole story.
Rehearse the purchase before inviting customers
For an illustrative florist, a returning member might have an eligible discount for a bouquet. In CommerceOS, staff attach the member, build the basket and select the available voucher before payment. They check the discount and explain the remaining balance. Rewardly’s counter guide describes member vouchers and code lookup, with ordinary voucher discounts shown in the basket.
Try the same journey with an expired voucher, an ineligible item and a previously used voucher. Rewardly documents that used or expired copies cannot be applied. Staff still need a helpful response: explain the condition, show an eligible alternative where appropriate, and refer a disputed case to the person responsible. Do not improvise a replacement benefit without an agreed policy.

Keep discounts distinct from prepaid value
A discount reduces the eligible purchase amount. A payment-linked prepaid voucher is handled differently: Rewardly documents it as a checkout payment option, with that voucher portion paid before other methods. Explain this distinction during staff training. Confirm stacking and remaining-balance behaviour for the exact voucher type, rather than promising that every voucher can be combined with every other benefit.
PaymentOS provides a Discount Report and a Payment Report grouped by payment method. These help the supervisor distinguish an offer’s discount from the money collected. Use matching dates and outlets when reviewing activity, then investigate individual exceptions. For the wider closing routine, see the integrated payments guide. A report supports review; it does not guarantee automatic resolution of every discrepancy.
Make channel limits visible before checkout
A customer who receives an offer on a phone may expect to use it online, at a kiosk or at the counter. Confirm the channels enabled for the voucher and your outlet. CommerceOS online ordering supports outlet links or QR codes without an ordering-app download, but that does not make every voucher valid in every ordering journey. Test each channel you advertise.
External schemes also have their own processes. The CDC Vouchers merchant guide, with content last updated on 3 June 2026, describes redemption through the RedeemSG Merchant app and separate transaction and payout views. This is established background, not a new October development. Keep government-voucher instructions separate from your own offers; it does not establish CDC redemption through Rewardly.
Build a repeat-visit habit without adding confusion
LoyaltyOS can connect vouchers with configured member benefits, including welcome or birthday offers and stamp-related rewards. Choose the mechanism that matches the visit pattern. An illustrative dessert shop could explain an eligible stamp reward at the counter, then show the customer where to find the issued voucher and its expiry. Confirm the programme rules before describing when a reward will arrive.
Keep the explanation short enough for a busy shift. Staff should know who qualifies, what the customer receives and what to do if the benefit is unavailable. The loyalty programme guide covers the broader member journey. Use that wider plan to decide whether vouchers, points or stamps best suit the business, instead of launching several competing offers at once.
Review questions as well as redemptions
After launch, review voucher activity alongside staff questions and customer feedback. Record recurring misunderstandings about expiry, eligibility or payment, and improve the message before expanding the campaign. Redemption alone does not prove an offer caused extra revenue or profit. Compare like-for-like periods carefully and account for the discount cost, seasonality and other promotions.
Book a Rewardly walkthrough with one real offer and a typical basket. Ask to see the customer’s voucher, the CommerceOS checkout, the LoyaltyOS conditions and the PaymentOS records. A useful demonstration should leave your team able to explain the benefit and complete the sale confidently, with the supported channels and commercial terms agreed before launch.
